Membership Policy Proposal

Next AGM propose to Members:
 
- Abolish the current $250 refundable membership fee as follows:
 
Current members must choose one or the other of the following two options:
 
1. Resign as a Member of Slovenski Dom and have the current $250 refundable membership fee refunded by advising the board of their wish to do so,
 
OR
 
2. Continue as a Member of Slovenski Dom and have their current $250 refundable membership fee converted to a Slovenski Dom non-refundable yearly membership fee (web site subscription) fee at one or the other of the two rates indicated below:
 
i) $25 per year for 10 years as a Family Membership (Subscription) (defined below),
 
OR
 
ii) $10 per year for 25 years as an Individual Membership (Subscription) (defined below).
 
AND
 
- Enact a new $25 per year non-refundable Family Membership fee which entitles the person paying the fee to the following:
 
1. All the existing participatory privileges enjoyed by current members.
 
2. A discount (or discounts) in an amount not to exceed $25 in any year on Admission for one (1) individual of their choice to Slovenski Dom sponsored events - e.g. Christmas Banquet, Bus Tour, Slovenski Dan, Potica Challenge, Youth Dance, .....
 
3. A one-year Family Subscription to the Slovenski Dom web site for up to ten (10) familialy related individuals.
PLUS
- Enact a new $10 per year non-refundable Individual Membership fee which entitles the person paying the fee to the following:
 
1. All the existing participatory privileges enjoyed by current members.
 
2. A discount (or discounts) in an amount not to exceed $10 in any year on Admission for one (1) individual of their choice to Slovenski Dom sponsored events - e.g. Christmas Banquet, Bus Tour, Slovenski Dan, Potica Challenge, Youth Dance, .....
 
3. A one-year Individual Subscription to the Slovenski Dom web site.
 
Definitions
 
Family Subscription - Up to ten (10) indivduals familialy related to the current or paying member (spouse, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings and their spouses, children and grandchildren, cousins and their spouses and children) will be registered with "Member" privileges on the Slovenski Dom web site at the indicated subscription fee of $25 per year. Beyond ten (10) individuals, an additional subscription fee of $2.50 per year per individual will be charged.
 
Individual Subscription - Full Member privileges (see Web Site Privileges below) on the web site.

There are presently five types of user recognized on the Slovenski Dom Web Site. They are:
Anonymous User
Registered User
Member (or Subscriber)
Director
Administrator
 
Privileges are limited as follows:
