Društvo Slovenski Dom - Toronto - Slovenian Home Association

 Slovenski Dom was honoured to be a part of the organizational committee for the first Slovenian Flag Raising event at Toronto City Hall.

In consultation with Krek Credit Union, Slovenia Credit Union, VSKO, Joe Mihevc, Toronto City Councillor, and John Doma, Honourary Consul for Slovenia, Slovenski Dom contributed towards the cost of the bus transportation. Slovenski Dom also provided the funds to allow Jeanette Zemlja of Krek Credit Union to organize refreshments and snacks that day. We thought she did an exceptional job of providing drinks and individually wrapped klobase-filled bread snacks.
